BOTOX® Cosmetic is commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles caused by muscle action. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow's feet, frown and worry lines, as well as neck bands and lines. Made from a purified protein, BOTOX® relaxes wrinkles and gives the face a rejuvenated look. BOTOX® may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms. Dr. Ghavami received the prestigious Gaspar Anastasi Award at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL for better his work on the dimensions and anatomy of the muscle between the eyebrows that most commonly received BOTOX®.

Injectable Fillers

As time passes our skin shows the natural, inevitable signs of aging - wrinkles and sagging. The fat compartments of our face also lose volume and deflate resulting in an aged facial shape and contour. But you can counteract those effects with several non-surgical cosmetic procedures available at our practice, including injectable fillers such as Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvéderm™, Radiesse® and Sculptra™ to contour and smooth wrinkles, lines and hollow areas in the face and to augment the lips or cheeks for a younger, fuller appearance. Chemical Peel

Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes and pre-cancerous growths to produce healthy, glowing skin. Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing removes the outer, damaged layer of skin to reveal a smoother, younger look. Laser resurfacing can reduce the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, uneven pigmentation and superficial scarring, usually on the face. A carbon dioxide (CO2) laser beam or ERBIUM beam of precisely focused light vaporizes the surface skin and reveals the undamaged layer beneath. Procedure time varies depending on the size and condition of the area being treated.

IPL Photofacial

Photofacial is a non-abrasive and non-invasive rejuvenation of your skin using the remarkable new technology of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). IPL Photofacials can improve the signs of sun damage, rosacea and brown spots on the face, hands and body. It has also been used to reduce the appearance of mild acne scars, dark circles around the eyes and fine lines around the eyes and mouth.
